I know that in today’s modern world this is ancient news and I also know this subject has been covered here already, but this story is relevant to…so many of my interests and I just can’t get over the fact that the Texas GOP tweeted out a photo of Beto O’Rourke looking, this is a family blog young and good and cool in an effort to make him look bad.

The idea that a bunch of young Republicans named Krassleigh and Jehdun with Early Onset Foxbrain actually thought that posting photos of a young hot Beto was going to gross out Texas voters is genuinely fascinating to me. I mean the 90-year-old Rascal-Brigaders were not going to vote for Beto anyway. And the boomer guys with their own pool and billiards supplies stores weren’t going to vote for him either. So whom, exactly, did they think they were scaring off with that picture? People with a deadly hotness allergy? The mind boggles.

The only way they could have owned themselves harder is if they had posted a picture of him cradling an injured puppy and captioned it with descriptions of how good he is at sex. Seriously. It’s so goddamn silly. I always remember the GOP being awful. I don’t remember them being this hamhandedly bad at this. The Era of Trump is truly buck wild.
