Now, we all know how Farley feels about Kentucky and how angry he gets when you tell Kentucky jokes.
But is it my fault that Kentucky has a global reputation for being filled with troglodyte apes???? And I mean, this isn’t the French taking pot shots at Kentucky. These are Romanians. I mean, you have to have a pretty bad reputation as an American state to get an international reputation so bad that even Romanians think you are an irredeemable shit hole. Just because the state is filled with slack-jawed yokels having sex with close relatives while doing meth in the back of their trailer from the 70s while banjos are picked by men with the kind of rare genetic diseases that come from multiple generations of inbreeding doesn’t mean that it’s my fault to point out that the Romanians know this. I mean, it’s just common knowledge that Kentucky is the sewer of America.
So I know that Farley says he will go after people who make fun of Kentucky. But this is the LGM fundraiser. So you can tell all the Kentucky jokes you want–for a price. $5 a joke or 5 for $20. The more generous you are, the more honest you can be about Kentucky.
You pay, you can make fun of Kentucky. You don’t pay, well, I can’t help Farley’s actions. You know what a Kentuckian is like when they get their angry up. They can’t speak an intelligible form of English, but you can tell that it ain’t no time for lengthy speeches.
