Daylight Savings Time: the eternal controversy

Every year at this time we get a slew of articles about how bad twice annual clock switching in general, and perhaps daylight savings time in particular, is supposed to be for peoples’ health.
I’m feeling too groggy this morning to achieve my normal standard of erudite coherence (ironic!), so instead I present the LGM community with the following poll. You have 30 points to express your preferences for either:
(a) The status quo
(b) Year round standard time
(c) Year round daylight savings time.
So for example if you have a strong preference for daylight savings time over standard time but absolutely hate the status quo, you would allocate your points along the lines of (c) 20 (b) 10 (a) Zero.
I have a theory which is mine that (a) would come in a poor third in this sort of survey on a national scale, but the combination of inertia and disagreement about whether (b) is better than (c) maintains what would be most peoples’ third choice of the three available.
So have at it.
