Live Updates: U.S. Captures Venezuelan Leader, Trump Says

President Trump announced that U.S. forces had carried out “a large scale strike against Venezuela” and were flying President Nicolás Maduro and his wife out of the country. The Trump administration had been building pressure on Mr. Maduro for months.

I’m going to do that annoying lawyer thing, but I’m pretty sure this is technically kidnapping.

Somehow I don’t think Maduro in Guantanamo is going to get the same ratings as Eichmann in Jerusalem.

I mean the invasion of Iraq was an obscenity, but at least they tried to justify it for a whole year ahead of time, with some extremely elaborate lies. As usual, the Pax Trumpania can’t even be bothered to do any homework.
