If you were running Pod Save America, merely the largest and most important podcast on the Democratic Party, who would you have on to discuss the role of labor and our labor history in reviving the Democrats?

That’s right, you’d have me.

I’m the guest on the latest episode of Pod Save America, in which Jon Lovett talks to me about labor history and I discuss the terrible plague of individualism and its role in stopping the kind of disciplined left we need. I then close by turning both barrels on the horrible anti-union “Democrat” Jared Polis and call for reading him out of the Democratic Party for vetoing Colorado’s overturning of its right-to-work law. I am very glad I got to do that for Pod Save America’s audience.

As for this happening on Fundraising Weekend, it’s a coincidence of course. But it’s worth noting that your support for LGM isn’t just about having a space to hang out. We writers here are working out the future of Democratic politics on this site and as you can see from me appearing here, we have the attention a lot of people in the larger liberal world. It was a lot of fun to do Pod Save America and it’s a nice feather in my personal cap, but what’s really important is that you keep LGM alive. So please do.
