Do you ever wonder what the heck historians talk about when they discuss their research? Well, if you do or are interested in labor history more generally, next Tuesday night, April 22, at 5 eastern, I am participating in the Malgeri Modern American Society & Culture Seminar for the Massachusetts Historical Society. This is a long running series of researchers doing public presentations with a senior professor commenting on their research. I am officially old so I am now the senior professor doing the commenting. Einav Rabinovitch-Fox of Case Western University is presenting on her research in a talk titled “Left on Broadway: Pins and Needles and the Cultural Work of Labor Unions.” Should be pretty cool. It’s also done by 6:15. You have to register to attend online and here’s the link. Hope to see some of you there! You can ask questions too! Preferably about her research and not my objectively correct takes on condiments or the state of the American sandwich.
