Brooks Robinson

Brooks Robinson has died at the age of 86.

The embedded clip is from the first World Series game I ever saw. 53 years later it’s still the best defensive play I’ve ever seen in a World Series game.

I was ten years old at the time, and I couldn’t understand why one of the Robinson brothers on the Orioles was black, while the other was white.

RIP to both of them.
