Apparently having not gotten the memo from his most credulous fanboys that his “Kick Me” emoji was a Veblen good (LOL), Elon has not only slashed the initial asking price 60% in less than a week — Balenciaga does this all the time, I assume — but is already calling his users morons for not wanting to buy the absolutely worthless thing he’s selling:

See, the thing is that when you give 8 bucks to Starbucks you actually get the coffee milkshake you paid for and wanted, not an emoji that does nothing but broadcast to the world that you’re a sucker and probably an asshole. Totally different business model. Hope that helps!
