The Deal

Most everyone knows that Captain Turnip has decided to quash US participation in the JCPOA.  Much of what happens in the next month will depend on the details of the US, Iranian, and European next moves. Here is a good summary of how things may play out between the US and the EU; long story short, both the United States and the EU have big decisions to make about how sanctions will be implemented by and against firms that are working with Iran.  Much will also depend on how aggressively the US attempt to trigger “snap back” mechanisms, which would probably end up killing the deal altogether.
