Scott wrote this morning about Verizon’s decision not to allow NARAL Pro-Choice America to use the Verizon network for pro-rights text messaging. The carrier cited its ability to decline to allow messages it deems “unsavory.”
A flurry of articles and blog posts ensued, and Verizon has already reversed itself, saying it had “made a mistake” in relying on a “dusty internal policy.”
Good news. Though Verizon should gird itself for a Bill Donohue tirade any day now, and Scott’s got one less reason to resist getting a cell phone.
