Though siblings, these two don’t get along quite so well anymore, which I suppose is to be expected when two beings live together for nearly 13 years. During their younger years, however, they were inseparable. Their mother had been buggered by a stray cat in a rainstorm. Raised for the first two months of life without the guiding paw of a father, Henry and Emma came to rely on each other above all else. Unfortunately, when Henry expressed his budding virility for the first time one night in late 1994, he could think of no one better to share that special moment than his sister, who was sleeping peacefully on a padded chair I’d yanked from a dumpster earlier that week. Henry’s testicles were pruned the next day, and the unpleasantness of the previous night was not repeated.
