By It is important to clarify the position of Lawyers, Guns and Money regarding the serial comma. LGM as an institution has no position on the usefulness or lack thereof of the serial comma. The lack of the serial comma in the LGM title is in specific reference to Warren Zevon’s Excitable Boy album, from which the name of our blog derives. Zevon saw fit to omit the serial comma from Lawyers, Guns and Money, and far be it from us to dissent from the intent of the master. However, individual members of LGM may have their own positions on the serial comma.
