The worst part of student plagiarism isn’t the fact that some students will escape my classes with decent grades for no work. The worst part is that I have to be suspicious of every well argued, well thought out paper that comes across my desk. When a student writes something insightful or intelligent, I have to scour the internet to see if they’ve stolen their thoughts from someone else. Most of the time they haven’t; good students come under suspicion because of the activities of miscreants.

It pisses me off to no end. Plagiarists deserve to burn in one of the deepest circles of Hell. Always a useful thing to keep in mind when old Joe Biden starts looking good.
