Ahem

I’m afraid that I can’t share my colleague’s enthusiasm regarding the death of TimesSelect. The institution of the subscriber wall has not only allowed me more free time to squander on Civ IV (Warlords expansion rocks, by the way), but has almost certainly had a strong positive effect on my blood pressure and general stress level.

Now, sadly, I may again find myself drawn, like moth to flame, to the works of David Brooks and Tom Friedman.

Don’t go away, TimesSelect. Please?

. . . addendum from d: I would also like to join Comrade Farley in mourning the demise of TS. I have, however, found comfort in this addicting game, which I urgently recommend to anyone looking to jettison his or her job, family and friends.
