The sanewashed version of what Trump is saying here — which is also crazy, so the concept of sanewashing is getting very relative — is that technically the shiftless black guy gets credit, but it was really Trump’s idea, which Obama stole. The more realistic version is that Trump thinks he ordered the assassination during his first term.

One day we’re told that a shadowy figure with no fixed address named Osama bin-Laden is public enemy number one, and U.S. jetfighters lay waste to his camp in Afghanistan. He escapes back under some rock, and a few news cycles later it’s on to a new enemy and new crisis.
This is what he has since characterized as his prediction that OBL would take down the WTC, and now (apparently) his demand at the time (?) that he be assassinated. Again, that’s the cleaned up sanewashed version of what he’s saying.
