Peace is raining down upon Iran!
Tough to get a sense yet of the targets, but the general sense on X (Bluesky is literally useless at times like this) is that we’re hitting “regime” targets, including folks in government and in the national security chain of command. We’ll see how that works out… just about every theory of social organization that we have suggests that such a campaign will fail, but hey, you miss every shot that you don’t take, right? This is not the kind of conflict that can really be ended by a peace deal, either; Israel and the US have effectively declared the Iranian government to be an illegitimate partner not worthy of negotiation, meaning that the war will just kind of fade away once we run out of precision-guided munitions.
Anyway, peace in our time!
