I woke up around 3 am Pacific Time =. That’s not extraordinary – my brain often decides to work out something I’m writing at that time of day. So I laid in bed and thought about what I would write in this post. I was pretty pleased with it. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to annoy people more.
Then I decided to look at my phone. Frequently I can look at my phone, see that the Europeans and East Coasters have things under control, and go back to sleep for an hour or two. Not this time!
We have a bunch of posts on Trump’s invasion of Venezuela. There’s a lot more we need to know, like what the situation is in Venezuela, and that will take some time. But you have ample room to speculate. I’ve put up the CIA’s most recent (2007) map of administrative regions of Venezuela at the top of this post – I need maps to understand what’s going on.
This is an open thread, but let’s keep it mostly to non-Venezuela topics. Pet pictures are welcome! Maybe I’ll do the usual roundup tomorrow.
