It is day 3 of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. A lot has already happened there that has nothing to do with the rantings of a terminally angry hubbard squash.
Scott Bessent has warmed up the crowd by calling Denmark “irrelevant;” the response to US threats to take Greenland “hysteria“.Generally playing the part of a slimy little courtier who tells the victim to let his lordship persuade them. And will watch the “persuading” through the keyhole.
It’s unlikely he’ll play the part of slimy little courtier who gets kicked over the parapet and into the dry moat in the final act, but we’ll see.
