Reagan on Tariffs

I am really curious how folks here reacted to this ad:

For my part I was quite surprised to get to the end and learn it was Ontario all along.

I personally don’t have any problem with this… invoking the ghost of Reagan to condemn Trump seems fair game to me, and say what you will about the Gipper, he was right about tariffs. That said, I know that some folks view this as mainstreaming Reagan, and would probably have trouble with it if it came from the Democrats rather than from out neighbors to the north.
