The New York Democratic Party has finally found someone it wants to fight. No, not Donald Trump are you kidding me. Nope, it’s Zohran Mamdani. Have to support the landlords after all. My favorite version of this came from Tom Suozzi, who rants about Mamdami’s democratic socialism…with a picture of the most famous democratic socialist since Eugene Debs in the background.

Is Suozzi smart enough to know that part of King’s history? Probably not. Or he doesn’t care. But the irony is so, so sweet.
