This is literal nonsense, having nothing to do with the American Revolution or slavery at all. DeSantis may or may not understand this–he’s not stupid unfortunately. He’s evil. But what does truth matter? I also like the undercurrent here that there’s nothing natural about religion here–Americans just decided this, alright sure.
