Donald Trump needs to be impeached and convicted tomorrow

A single count should suffice: Encouraging a violent insurrection against the United States Congress during the performance of its official duties.

Let Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley and any other shameless motherfucker who has the chutzpah and cojones to vote against that vote against it.

Then launch a careful comprehensive investigation into exactly who participated, planned, and encouraged this insurrection, and send all of them to prison for a long time, starting with Donald Trump.

. . . And a reminder: Mike Pence could remove Donald Trump from office for the rest of his term literally this minute, if he were to get the cooperation of just seven other Cabinet members.
