By The play-by-play man of the world’s most evil organization just asked his color man, David Justice, “what approach would you, as a left-handed hitter, take with Arthur Rhodes?” Justice mumbled something about Rhodes being a two-pitch pitcher. Thankfully, they did not mention the homer Justice hit against Rhodes in the 2000 ALCS, which is currently orbiting Pluto. Of course, Matsui immediately launched a 3-run homer; I guess the he’s been talking to Justice. Jeebus, put Rhodes into Yankee Stadium and he turns into Kevin Jarvis.
In better Mariner news, congratulations to Crafty Lefty (TM)Jamie Moyer, always a personal favorite, on his 200th win. Amazing what the right mind can do with a 78 MPH fastball.
