Lawyers, Guns and Money is a politics and culture blog written primarily by a group of eight academics. LGM was founded in May 2004 by David Watkins, Rob Farley, and Scott Lemieux.

David Watkins
Robert Farley is an assistant professor at the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce. His work includes military doctrine, national security, and maritime affairs. He contributes to the Diplomat: Flashpoints and Information Dissemination.
Scott Lemieux is an assistant professor of political science at the College of Saint Rose. His work includes constitutional law and abortion politics. He contributes to the American Prospect and to Vox Pop.
