Trump is considering firing the Inspector General, because the IG reported — as he was legally required to do — the whistleblower’s complaint to Congress:

IGs have a legal duty to investigate fraud, waste and abuse. The law required Atkinson to send the Ukraine whistleblower complaint to Congress. If you are a Republican, you are OK with this. It’s not OK to be a Republican. If you are not a Republican, treat the people in your life who are Republicans in the same way you would treat anyone else who was something that it wasn’t OK to be, like, for example, a con man, a thief, or a fascist. But I repeat myself.
