MIAMI, FLORIDA – JUNE 27: Democratic presidential candidates (L-R) former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) take part in the second night of the first Democratic presidential debate on June 27, 2019 in Miami, Florida. A field of 20 Democratic presidential candidates was split into two groups of 10 for the first debate of the 2020 election, taking place over two nights at Knight Concert Hall of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, hosted by NBC News, MSNBC, and Telemundo. People who wish to discuss it can do so here. I sure hope we can get at least a 45 minute segment in which the candidates once again debate the fine points of health care proposals that all have a 0% chance of being enacted by the next Congress! I mean, why waste time with boring questions like “how would you use the actual powers of the executive branch” and stuff like that there.

Meanwhile, I must inform you that Deval Patrick’s campaign has the momentum of a runaway freight train:

Let us once and for all dispel with the fiction that the Democratic donor class knows what it’s doing.
