I have two public talks next week and figured those of you in the lucky areas may be interested.
On Earth Day, Monday, April 22, I will at the Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council in New Bedford to talk about the connections between the labor and environmental movements. That could be very interesting and tense with a certain kind of audience, although I suspect a lot of people who are less inclined to hear this sort of thing just won’t show up. But knows! I don’t have a proper flyer for this, but it’s at 6:30 and the address is easy enough to look up. Shoot me a line if you aren’t sure.
Then, as the image above suggests, I will be at Penn State in State College next Thursday to talk about Latinos, immigration, and the labor movement with a couple of awesome local activists. This should be really great and if you are in central Pennsylvania, I hope you can make it!
