I will grant Schultz this, at a time when the media completely erased the working class from television, except for insipid stories about why the white ones keep supporting Trump, he consistently talked about working classes issues and unions on his MSNBC show. Otherwise, he was terrible, moving from a right-wing blowhard to pretending like he wasn’t a right-wing blowhard to being a right-wing blowhard in the service of Vladimir Putin. He won’t be missed, at least not by me.
That said, imagine if the media actually covered workers rights at all. What a different world that would be.
