How many more days until Dana Bash experiences another day on which Donald Trump became president?

CNN’s Dana Bash delivered praise for the nearly hour-long recorded meeting President Trump held with Congressional leaders on immigration reform Tuesday afternoon. However, the CNN correspondent was nervous what the reaction would be when she delivered commentary on the transparent meeting.
“I’m sure I will get hit for this [ed: possibly a poor choice of words in retrospect] and I don’t really care,” Bash made sure to qualify her remarks. “The bottom line is that this is, a year ago, this is the presidency that many people thought Donald Trump was capable of.”

As the White House grapples with the mystery of why all of Rob Porter’s bitches are so disrespectful, Bash had this to say about Donald Trump’s fond farewell to one of his favorite serial wife beaters:
Having said that, the fact that he did not mention one word, one syllable, about these two women, plus apparently an ex-girlfriend, who are talking in great detail about abuse, physical, verbal abuse, is outrageous. I mean, I’m sorry, it just is. It just is. And it is tone-deaf to the times, it is tone-deaf to the situation that he has had, which is a person who has been in the closest proximity possible to this man alleged to have done some pretty horrible things. We’ve seen the pictures, but more importantly, we have heard from his ex-wives. To not even have a nod to that and instead just profusely, effusively praise the work that Porter did, it’s sad.
Yeah Dana, it is sad. As is your habitual and no doubt soon-to-return Villager cluelessness about the nature of this man you seek.
