Oxford Research Encyclopedia of American History

Oxford University Press has released what it is calling the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of American History. It’s written by top scholars and is something that is primarily (or maybe exclusively) online and will be updated with new entries. It’s also free, at least for the time being. I wrote the essay on “Forests and Logging in the United States.” But despite that poor decision by Oxford, there are lots of really first rate scholars here that you may be interested in checking out.
