Intermittent Blogging Alert

I am conferencing this weekend, so there will be fewer words from me than usual. I am excited to report, however, the my hotel is right next to the upscale restaurant in Philadelphia’s beloved “Little Italy” neighborhood:

I also hope to visit this charming provincial hamlet’s richly historic Cheesecake Factory District and file a report with the Times accordingly.

The TVs were turned to the Eagles preseason game last night, and while normally I ignore the exhibition games I couldn’t resist occasionally gawking at the vaguely quarterback-like stylings of Mr. Christian Hackenberg, who makes Tim Tebow look like circa 2007 Tom Brady. Apparently the Jets are going to carry 4 QBs rather than admit that they massively blundered by blowing a second-round pick on a farcical non-prospect who can’t beat out busted prospect Geno Smith or Gentleman’s C- prospect Bryce Petty. I continue to hope that Woody Johnson is bringing similar wisdom to the Trump campaign.
