  • What I took away from this article on RedPill women is that–much like their male counterparts–their dedication to the, erm, movement is very much tied up in a fear of not knowing their place in the world. I’d bet that many RedPill women are like the one in the article–stay at home moms who feel insecure about the fact that they are an increasingly rare breed. It’s something I’ve struggled with myself, as a longtime hausfrau and now stay-at-home-mom. It’s why I taught myself how to use Photoshop and sat hunched over a computer honing my craft ’til I ruined my back. I wanted to feel productive. I wanted to be able to point to something and say “I do this.” But not once did I take my insecurity out on women who work outside the home. Indeed, I’ve only ever had the greatest respect for women with careers.
  • “Novak Djokovic had a chance to take a stand against sexism in tennis, and somehow made it worse.” Indeed.
  • Charles Camosy thinks the Democratic party could win lots more voters...if we would just act like Republicans. Serious question, though: Can one be both anti-choice and liberal? It seems to me that not letting women have autonomy over their sexual and reproductive health is profoundly anti-liberal.
