Priorities
So, if I understand Bud Selig:
- Deliberate attempt to injure: 5 games. (And that’s 5 games for a pitcher, so really it’s more like zero games.)
- Legally “obstructing” an investigation you have no contractual obligation to comply with: 162 games, $25 million, more than three times the length of the suspension for the underlying offense.
But when you realize that the latter player used DRUGS that are different than the DRUGS that boomer idols used, it all makes perfect sense!
