Arizona

[ 13 ] November 11, 2012 |

Arizona is a national joke. Say what you will about whatever southern state you don’t like, Arizona matches them all for extremism, hate, and corruption. Have to give it credit though. Arizona Republicans’ plans to steal the election was more sophisticated than other states. Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell I’m sure are proud.

At least the state had some responsibility for this I guess:

But Arizona has lower humidity! Or as a bumper sticker said: It’s a dry hate.

  2. bill says:

Fuckin’ Isaac Hayes. I don’t usually listen to 19-minute songs, but this . . . Oh, we were talking about Arizona? Fuck Arizona, and Jan Brewer, and Sheriff Fuckhead, et al.

  3. Fats Durston says:

Isn’t “By the Time I Get to Arizona” more relevant here?

Be fair to Arizona. They did just elected a bisexual atheist to Congress. Even if they are engaged in one-upsmanship with Florida for “Stupidest Thing in the News.” Hopefully there’s a darkest-before-the-dawn thing going on, and the UNSTOPPABLE DEMOGRAPHIC TYPHOON will tamp down on their craziness.

Though hell, Florida voted for Obama, and their state government is still whack. I don’t even know.

UNSTOPPABLE DEMOGRAPHIC TYPHOON is only UNSTOPPABLE if the DEMOGRAPHIC TYPHOON’s votes are actually counted, though. Seriously, declarations of victory with a third of the vote uncounted? They’re not even trying anymore. Just wait until the US Supreme Court gets wind of such flagrant … Oh, wait.

You should spend some time in Arivaca to see a different side of Arizona. Because after living in Arivaca from 2005-2007 I find your description of Arizona to be totally unrelated to the reality of the community where I lived. In fact Arivaca is the only place in the world that I know where it is still safe to hitch hike. I did it on fairly regular basis without any problem what so ever. That is how friendly the local hippies, ranchers, artists, and retirees are in Arivaca.

Issac Hayes!!! And, yeah, Arizona is a part of the Confederacy sans humidity.

    • giantslor says:

Yep. There’s a reason Arizona is one of the states included under the Voting Rights Act. This also shows why we need that law more than ever.

  7. However the issue that matters most is a range for temperature appraisal.

Even when tests show no leukemia cells can be found, there may still be some left.
That crossroad provides a choice, a choice that can be
made out of fear or faith.

  8. The ethical issues that surround the use of embryonic stem cells make it difficult for
scientists and researchers in some countries to receive the funding
they need to pursue their work. Even when tests
show no leukemia cells can be found, there may still be some left.
The experts use herbs and organic matters to neutralize the deadly poisons.
