Excellent.

I do feel, however, feel that this excerpt omits the best material, such as the dastardly tactics Kieran used to gain more respect than Glenn Reynolds, although Reynolds set standards for Southern nobility and integrity no human being will ever achieve again.

Reynolds set standards for Southern nobility and integrity no human being will ever achieve again, thank goodness.

It’d be nice if we could discuss the actual post, as opposed to the derails of an incredibly stupid man with more time on his hands than sense.

While I’m glad someone tried to parody Caro (he has a style ripe for some joking) and put the time and effort into it, I don’t think this really hits the ear correctly. The grandiosity is fine but there’s a bit too much awkwardness in it. I don’t think I would recognize it as a Caro parody unless I was told ahead of time.

Yeah, but he mentioned Pine, so he gets points for that; it seems as antiquated now as that electric typewriter that Caro labors at.
