I’m heartened that McCain didn’t offer a billion-year commitment, because that would make us imperialists.

History- who knows? We’ll all be dead.
I’d like to see this argument combined with the young earth creationist Republican base- “We’ll be in Iraq for a hundred times the age of the earth!”

Apparently there are no eight year olds left to hire.

I knew that I was getting old the first time I saw a cop and wondered, “Why the hell are they letting a kid carry a badge and a gun”?

  • American Citizen

It’s the skinny ties that gives him away more than the skinny neck.

  • Congruence between the new hires and the target audience?

You mean that’s not Tucker Carlson?

Matt, as best I recall, is 27. And he’s one of the smartest conservatives of my acquaintance. I disagree with him on almost everything – but never bitterly, never acrimoniously. He’s capable of seeing the flaws of the right as well as the left. If gray hairs conferred wisdom, it’d make sense to mock him for being youthful, and to choose McCain over Obama. But sometimes, the young are at least as wise as their elders – and for my money, Matt’s voice is as worth listening to as any on the right.

Which is to say, not at all.

    Flyonthewall hearts Matt. That’s nice.

He is a fairly frequent guest on Hardball

  • Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The
text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with
browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.

The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Cheers
