What is it that irritates me about Mickey Kaus?

Is it that his sixth-rate blog inexplicably gets first rate internet real estate?

Is it that he sounds more like a Hollywood gossip columnist than a political analyst?

Is it the deep personal animosity towards Kerry? “Suspicious lack of evidence about Kerry’s affairs indicate that he may have had affairs,” “Dem panic watch: Kerry only eight points ahead; Will Dems dump him for Hillary at the Convention?”

Is it the fact that he claims to be a Democrat, yet argues that Dems must abandon a well-reasoned foreign policy, fair taxation, any wealth redistribution, affirmative action, and any three out of five other deeply held policy positions?
